I have spent a great deal of my time searching for vintage ball buttons to turn into fabulous rings.  Each ring is securely wire wrapped and made to order in your size, so every one is unique and looks like no other.

The Maxima features a gigantic hollow metal 1 1/8" button.   I bought these online and was a tad surprised when I received them...this button is enormous an beautiful!
