Here in Austin, Bats are something to be celebrated! Every evening around 8:15 from March until October, thousands of Mexican tail-free bats emerge like a black cloud from their hang out under the Congress Avenue bridge over Lady Bird Lake to find food. The occurrence draws a nightly crown and is a must see if you're in Austin. It's certainly made me fonder of the night dwellers!
This quirky necklace is pretty cool even if you've never seen the Austin bats and the off center design of hematite glass adds a wonderful twist!
