26a The Dream Series is a culmination of many of my loves, painting, embroidery and reading. In part, the painting is an illustration/collage of a book I read and was inspired by. The rest is purely what I had to get out on canvas. The result is both intriguing and unique. A soothing abstract sea scape of muted blues and greens sets the backdrop for a garden of embroidered lollipop flowers through which cockroaches scurry. "Flowers changes colors, the orange trees whispered and the hibiscus glowed a fiery red" is written across the bottom. Ready to hang, signed front lower right.
