Watching The Sun Go Down

I created this series while returning to the exploration of color theory. I used tissue paper, gesso and watercolor to create collages on both canvas and wood that played not only with color, but with texture and the idea of painting with paper. The edges are bordered in tissue paper to create a self bordered finish.

Greens, blues, yellows and oranges with hot pink accents create an abstract ocean scape that will brighten up any space it enters. Perfect to fill a nook or cranny this mini painting is great for those with too much stuff or too little space and adds charm where needed!

Fuchsia border and ready to hang.  Signed front lower right.
